Until a couple years ago, I had never had a need for a compounding pharmacy, nor was I really familiar with how they operated. Then a little over two years ago, one of my pets got sick. The only options I had were prescription pills, liquid medication, or compounding. None of my pets take pills well - so that was out. I’d tried liquid medications directly from the vets - and every time had gone badly. So, I thought I would give compounding a shot, and I am so grateful that I did! I am now a regular at Professional Village Compounding Pharmacy. But there are plenty of facilities that can compound medication both for pets and for humans. You might be looking at this review, to try and figure out if this business is one that you should patronize. From monthly meds, to last minute change ups, to emergency refills — and everything in between — time and time again the pharmacists and employees at Professional Village Compounding Pharmacy have stepped up and come through for me. I have multiple guys with different issues, and I’m so grateful for a Pharmacy that can compound medication for oral and transdermal administrations, who will actively work with you to get the best treatment options available for your pet. They have consistently worked with me through the many challenges of having aging pets. If I were to move tomorrow, I would still make sure to get prescriptions sent to them. That is how good they are at working with you, and that is how professional they are. They are the only place that I want to turn to when I need compounded meds. And if I ever need medications for myself, or my family, they are who I’m going with. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have animal companions who need medications, and they will not take the bitter stuff that comes in pill or liquid form, or you just have trouble administering medications, this is the business you want to go to.

I had to have a medication compounded in 3 days or less. I went to Professional Village and explained my situation and they said they would be able to make the medication in 2-3 days. The next day I received a call that my medication was ready. They far exceeded my expectations. The staff were all friendly, helpful and understanding of my situation. I would gladly send friends and family here, as I believe they offer quality service.

Wonderful staff and service! Pharmacist even insisted he would stay late for me to come pick up my medication. I told him it would take me an hour to get there and he said it was no problem. He just wanted to be sure I wasn’t in pain or suffering. How sweet and rare that someone would consider to go so far out of his way for my comfort. We worked it out so I could pick up the next morning but I have no doubt he would have stayed for hours. Thank you Professional Village Pharmacy!!!!!
