The teller is rude and obnoxious.. she does rings u up for full price on discounted items then get annoyed when you correct her.. be careful this place will charge you twice for the items then call u a liar when you correct them and start a screaming match.. the worst service I have ever experienced

I dropped off a physical prescription the day before and they never entered it into their system. Had to wait 20 minutes for them just to find it and it still wasn’t ready a day later, so had to wait an additional 20 minutes. Go to literally any other pharmacy besides this one.

Efficient, professional, clean. My review blasted the Walgreen’s on Dearborn & Division and today I went with the same prescriptions and told the pharmacy tech that the “other Walgreen’s said the writing was too faded for then to upload it into their system therefore could not fill it. She looked at it & said I can read it and promptly entered it into her computer. 15 mts later the scripts were ready!!! If you live in the Gold Coast area, I highly suggest you use this Walgreens!

Truly AMAZING Customer Service ! I’m not sure why this Walgreens Pharmacy has a low Google Review Rating, but it looks like it’s because it got some 1 star reviews as far back as 3, 5 and 7 years ago, when a completely different staff was running things. I have nothing but praise for this location & team. From Nila, the head Pharmacist to some of her associates such as Kenesha, Faye, and the Walgreens store manager Judy, this Walgreens has always been about great customer service & care. Super convenient location as well at the corner of State Street and Walton in Chicago. My most recent experience was yesterday 1/21/2025 at 2:45pm. I went in to pick up my generic Bupropion and I noticed it was a different generic manufacturer than I have previously been getting consistently from this Walgreens for the past 6 years. I met with pharmacist Nila for a few minutes and explained I was hoping to get my usual same generic brand SOLCO. Nila said, “Let me see if I can order this for you Overnight, and I will call you tomorrow with an update.” Sure enough today 1/22/2025 at 12 PM, I received a call from Pharmacist Nila, and she had gotten in the medication brand that I had asked for overnighted. 20 minutes later I was there picking it up, and I thanked Nila and her team for such a great turnaround and overall service. I then asked if I could schedule an RSV vaccine shot. Nila actually booked it on the spot for me, and within 10 minutes the injection was completed and I was out the store on my way home. There’s no other Walgreens I would go to in the Chicagoland area, and I really hope others give this one a look at because of their dedication and driven spirit. It truly shines through every time I’m there… Michael G
