Today I waited for 59 minutes on the phone for a pharmacist. When the pharmacist got on, she hung up on me. So I went to the store and was told by the pharmacist on duty that she "would never hang up intentionally". The who pharmacy staff is new. They have always been overworked, and now they are incompetent. My Wegovy is never in stock. It takes numerous attempt to fill it. There is one carryover staff member who is very good, but she is overwhelmed too. If there was someplace else to go, I would. This is the busiest Walgreens in Chicago. I would find another pharmacy if possible.

Extremely long waits here, absolutely avoid coming during rush hour. I’ve waited almost an entire hour on several occasions already. If they tell you your prescription will be ready in whatever amount of minutes, remind them once the time is up. They will have your prescription sitting on the counter forever until you go up to them and ask.

Jaime and the staff worked tirelessly. I’ve seen people abuse them and they always try their best. It’s a very popular location for prescriptions and we all have to be patient.

Was waiting to speak with pharmacist. It was evening. He was on phone talking someone for 10 minutes about the weather, life and everything else. He could have put the caller on hold, given the service that and then carried on with endless conversation. Went to another pharmacy.

I have called 3 times and been on hold for over 3 hours today, and not once has someone picked up. I audibly heard a person pick up the phone and immediately hang up, and that's it. I then went in person to simply order a refill, and could tell they were extremely understaffed relative to the volume of prescriptions. They said they could fill my Rx in an hour, I said I could tell they're busy and asked what time could they easily have it filled by and I'll return then -- they said in two hours. It is now 3 and a half hours later, and not only is it unfilled, they have not even BEGUN to process the order to my medication -- which is an antibiotic, by the way!! Not exactly something you can take or leave. Walgreens' management and corporate should be ashamed that they keep an alleged "flagship location" so horrifically understaffed and under resourced during peak hours. In the time I spent failing to fill my prescription today, I could have driven to get it filled by a CVS in another state!
