I don’t get any prescriptions from here, but I stopped at this Walgreens en route to Millennium Park to grab some souvenirs. Location: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The way they located this store right across from Millennium Park is amazing! I even got to see a live band performing in front of the store! Inside environment: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The store was very well organized and had an appealing vibe to it. Not much else to say. Products: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pretty much everything you need for your day in the city can be found here: various household items, souvenirs, some groceries, and of course medicine. Some items are a little bit expensive, but it’s a pharmacy so I’m not complaining. Customer service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’ve been reading a lot of these reviews that are accusing the employees of being disrespectful and refusing to provide services, but the cashier I wound up with was probably the nicest person I met on my trip. We chatted for a couple of minutes since there was no one else in line, and I left with a reminder to have a great trip. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this Walgreens! If I’m ever in Chicago again I’ll make sure to stop by!

Pharmacy is fine. But why the hell is it closed on Saturday? Especially when every other Walgreens pharmacy is open on Saturday. Absolutely ridiculous. Screw anyone who might need medicine on a weekend I guess?

I asked for help and this is what I got!! I went to Walgreens on the 6thand 8th of July at 30 N MICHIGAN AVE Chicago, IL 60602 I again and again I receive such poor customer service! I would like to send you a snapshot of both employees who refused to help me! The first one July 6th a gentleman at the counter refused to help me find a way to look at my Walgreens app to see if I had any rewards. I posted a review that day in the website of that store! I showed him my phone and he just stood there and refused to look at my phone and tell me if I had any rewards. He just stood there and made no effort to look at my phone and help me, he just stood in the same position for about maybe 3-4 minutes. I’m shocked at his unwillingness to help a customer. The receipt is stamped at 1:07pm, please look at me handing my phone to him over the counter and his refusing to look down at the phone to show me! On July 8th I went and I was such going to buy cigarettes and so I just stood in line right away. I asked for one pack of L&M menthol “short” cigarettes. She checked and right away she said, “ we don’t have any!” I also saw that there was none showing and I asked her to please check to see if she has a carton to stack up and give me a pack please 🙏🏼. She without blinking just said “no we don’t have any!” I was upset that she made no intent to look for a carton at all! I’m furious as to how poor your customer service and her lack of willingness to help a customer! Her name is Juanita and this I know because I took a picture of her to post in website of her unwillingness to help a customer like the gentleman before her! I had to walk about 10 blocks to the next Walgreens at 410 N Michigan Avenue and the absolute thing happened again when an employee absolutely “refused refused” to look for a carton to restock!! I begged her twice to please check somewhere in the back or behind the counter to see if she might have a carton and had to just restock!! She refused she said twice “no we don’t have any” without as so much checking at ALL!! She refused to check so I had to buy the L&M 100’s because I was too tired to walk anymore!! The time stamped was for July 8th at 3:25pm and so I was at the first store around maybe 3:10pm or 3:00pm with Walgreens employee Juanita! I am so perplexed as to how Walgreens hire people who are unwilling to help customers!! I don’t don’t understand! They made absolutely no effort or movement to even bother to look! I cannot believe their lack of customer service skills and unwillingness to help!

The pharmacy didn't have something in stock. I asked if they could check the system for other stores in the area that might have it (which I know is possible to do). They said "you'll have to call around" and hung up on me.

My wife and I ALWAYS get our scripts and vaccinations from here. When the store at Adams and Mich. Ave closed a few years ago we followed Shirley and her team to this location because she ALWAYS delivers first class and professional service in the Pharmacy. Her team is ALWAYS polite and professional and ALWAYS works to solve any prescription issues ranging from delays to early refills due to extended travel. Any negative review of the pharmacy staff must be due to it being Shirley's team's day off because I have NEVER EVER had a negative experience nor seen a negative interaction between the pharmacy and a customer in all of the years, (5), that we have been using Shirley and her team. I cannot speak to the quality of service from the retail floor team as we do not purchase retail items regularly from Walgreens. I suspect any negative review is due to the constant turnover in that staff and are completely unrelated to the pharmacy. I only hope, for our sake, that Shirley's talent and competence don't lead to her being promoted to some administrative role, as she is outstanding in her interactions with her customers. She is most deserving of special recognition, none the less.
