First, I want to say that I have never had a complaint against James Pharmacy. I've been getting my medicine there for 8 years even though I no longer live in the area. I really like the staff there and had never had a problem. At the end of last year I was given the wrong medicine but I just found this out last week. For the last two months I have been experiencing dizzness, having headaches, and other problems I didn't have before. I never thought I was on the wrong medicine again until last week after seeing one of my doctors. So I researched the medicine inside the bottle, and found it was not at all what I had been taking. I contacted the pharmacist there, and found out he knew I was given a much, much lower dose of the medicine than I normally take. Usually, if there is a problem with my medicine the staff or him would let me know. That safe guard didn't happen this time. Instead of letting me know they didn't have it in stock, he gave me what they had. He should have told me there was a problem, and given me the choice to taking it or not. I would have chosen to wait until they got my correct dosage in or taken my prescription some where else.

I've been getting my prescriptions from James pharmacy since I was a little girl... I'm now 58 years old. Talk about time flying 😁! The pharmacist are helpful , especially if I call with a question about a medication. Thanks James's pharmacy 🙂

I don't feel they really care about their patients. Long as they get, they're money,overcharging. In my opinion, no options are ever giving About options always to save the client money.Then I'll get insurance.They don't wanna try to help you save a peany plus plus,you have to do all the leg work. They don't help with nothing in my opinion. I've been coming here since I was born multiple generations of my family from south bmore. I feel like every time I call these people Just the way they sound is rude They can't send your medicine out on one day My one medicine is due next monday But they can't make it a delivery I am disabled with cmt and they don't care I don't have a car nor A.Way to get there and i've told these people that and they don't seem to Care.

great local pharmacy and my charges have all been lower than they were at cvs so far, i wait less and my prescription is ready faster too. they also deliver for free if you’re in the city.

I've been going to James Pharmacy for at least 40 years ever since they where on the corner of Fort Avenue and Riverside and everyone treated you very nice then they moved to light Street and still everyone was very nice until they sold the pharmacy and a new owner took over and his name is SID and he is very, very nice and he makes sure you get all your medications when you're supposed to but the staff that works down there some of them are very rude and when you're done talking to them on the phone and say goodbye that don't say anything and I think that's very rude and when you tell them to send out all your medication's and when you get your mediation it's always missing one or two prescriptions then you got to pay another copay and when they need to do is get rid of those girls and hire new ones.
