Chai C 4 months agoPrompt and polite service every time. I wish I switched to Midas years ago, ive never had that annoying moment where you get a text that your meds are ready and then when you arrive theyre not ready. Midas fills my prescriptions so immediately that I got the ready text while I was still in my doctors office
Shanyce Ramirez 4 years agoArrived on 12/29/21 around 12:30pm. There was one person waiting in line before me. They had Covid test forms outside for us to fill out. They came out to retrieve our forms and ID and insurance cards however we’re still waiting to get tested and it’s been about 45 minutes since they’ve taken our information. We’ve been sitting outside in the cold the entire time without an update. If I don’t have Covid I’ll have a bad cold after this. There’s now 6 more ppl waiting in line and there’s still no update. UPDATE: I called 12/30/21 to confirm my email, who ever picked the phone up noticed I left this review and wanted to confront me about it, but then hung up the phone when I asked if she had something to say to just say it. I’ll be glad to explain why I left this review. Just unprofessional. To put the icing on top…. I never received my results from the Covid test after they said it would be made available 12/30/21 after 7pm. Now I have to go get another test done delaying my time back to work. Thanks
Sylvia Smith a year agoI tried to have a very small prescription filled at this place because it's close to my house and the CVS on South Charles closed. They called and indicated they had "questions for me" regarding why I was having a controlled substance prescription filled at their pharmacy. Not sure that it was their business but I answered the questions. They said "well we have to check on these things because, you know...". Which upset me--questions and conversations like this are what often prevent poor people and people from color from getting the medical care they need. It was very clear that the person was accusing me of being a drug abuser. This is a VERY small prescription, where affluent white Americans are provided 10 times the amount that I am prescribed and have no problem. The prescription is from a reputable doctor (who the pharmacy could call to verify the information). The pharmacy ultimately refused to fill my prescription. No one should have to go through that to get health care. It seems like this pharmacy has a reputation for this, i would not engage or interact with this pharmacy.
Santana Moreno 3 years agoI just had the most hostile interaction I've ever had with a pharmacist - Midas RX on Washington Blvd. It was so incredibly shocking and I'm very taken aback and flustered right now...My primary care doctor sent over my prescription this morning. I had previously used this pharmacist just once before (I am a new homeowner in the neighborhood.) I called asking when the prescription would be available (it was filled once by this pharmacy before) and the pharmacist told me they didn't have the prescription available right now and that it wouldn't be available until next week and that she recommended I look for another pharmacist. I got off the phone, spoke to my doctor, and he told me that I should be fine and shouldn't worry about lapsing just one week. I also looked at maps for other pharmacies and there just weren't any that seemed as ideally close enough, and I wanted to use this one as my local pharmacy within walking distance of my house. So I called back, deciding I'd rather develop a relationship with my local pharmacist and wait a little while, and I told her I was fine with waiting a week - she then got immediately and incredibly hostile toward me. She accused me of being a drug user, saying "there is something that doesn't meet the eye here" (there is no way anyone abuses this drug...) told me I was trying to "force her" to prescribe me something, and she just overwhelmingly refused to fill my prescription. Her rhetoric and tone was genuinely shockingly accusatory, hostile, aggressive, and....just all around confusing. I'm stunned. The prescription is something primarily geared toward gay men so who knows maybe that had something to do with it. I don't know what that whole exchange was all about but I do know that I'm never going to set foot in that establishment or give them my business ever again. And I plan on leaving this review on any review platform I possibly can.
Stephanie Wood 11 months agoThe woman at the front is god awful. I have no idea how she still has a job after all of the complaints on her over the years. And investigate my review all you want, why would I be reviewing a place I've never been? 🤦🏻♀️ My last name has changed since I've been there.
