UMMC Pharmacy at Weinberg

I had to go to Weinburg pharmacy because Midtown campus pharmacy had office issues and was closed, except for a small pickup line outside the regular pharmacy in the lobby, line was long, midtown pharmacy had 1 person manning the line, and only half of my medications were available so I had to go to Weinburg pharmacy to pick up the rest. Weinburg pharmacy also gave me some miss information regarding my meds that was incorrect and gave me some anxiety because I knew what was the correct information.

I wasn't asked if I wanted my meds filled here upon discharge from the hospital. The line was quite long. Idk if it would have felt like a semi reasonable wait if I hadn't been up for 36 hours in the inpatient unit! Unless you have no choice, send your stuff to your own pharmacy. It will ve quicker!

Convenient and easy. Has never been a line when I’ve gone to pick up. Getting there is confusing if you use google maps, I ended up wandering around behind the building by the ambulances… Pro tip: don’t use google maps to get here. Use the entrance on Lombard and green, you’ll see the giant mosaic heart. Go up the stairs and hang slight left. Someone will point you in the direction.

Never had an issue here. Pharmacist are helpful and I can usually request a refill and pick same day

They call or text and let you know when my medication is ready. Everyone there is very friendly and very helpful with any questions I have.
