Loy is an amazing pharmacist — personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and truly one of a kind. Just last week, he stayed an hour after the pharmacy closed so I could make it across town to pick up an important medication I couldn’t miss that day. He didn’t have to, but he promised he’d be there to make sure I was taken care of. That kind of dedication and kindness means a lot. Sitting in the drive through at the pharmacy and not able to get out of my car and go inside. They have allowed one car to sit here for 25 mins and counting. Tried calling but you can’t reach the pharmacy. Called the front and the lady just stammered and hung up on me trying to transfer me. Please do better if it takes a while for one person

I’m very glad this happened to be the closest pharmacy to me when I moved here. I generally just stop by once a month to pick up prescriptions and the main physician/practitioner is always kind and helpful. Yesterday though, I went to pick up antibiotics for a UTI and as soon as he saw my order and saw me (I was in so much pain I could barely stand in line), he recommended a specific pain medication and offered to go grab it and bring it to the register for me, so that I wouldn’t have to move. So so so nice!!

Great place to pick up your prescriptions, get advice for over the counter medicines (not just your prescription medications). Also great place to buy random items you may need - printer paper, chocolate, passport photo (actual print and/or digital) and last minute gifts/cards.

The CVS on Polk St Houston is the best CVS I have ever experienced. It is fast, professional and convenient. The pharmacy is the best. Pharmacists are professional, helpful and friendly. They are eager to help. For example, I scheduled vaccines for the next available date -2 days later. They called me to say that I could come early anytime to get the vaccines so I wouldn’t have to wait for 2 days. They are proactive always!
