I love TGH pharmacy! I’ve always had a great experience getting my monthly fills here since switching to them 3 months ago. They are always ready on time or within 15-30mins if I come in before they’re ready. Staff is friendly and helpful. I have a scheduled II medication so it’s always been an issue my whole life getting it anywhere else and it’s extremely frustrating, but this pharmacy has so far exceeded my expectations. Thank you guys!

I have had only positive experiences with Tampa General Pharmacy. From the simplest to the most complicated situations, they have never failed to make it work. The Meds to Beds program is invaluable to patients checking out after surgical procedures. All staff are caring and helpful, whether inpatient or outpatient/post discharge.

TGH pharmacy insists on forcing you to use them, and earn your business. I initially called to transfer the prescription out. They convinced me to fill the prescription there. Fine. The prescription will be ready within the hour (9:32 AM). I arrive at 3 pm. Guess what? The prescription is not ready. So I decide to wait for it to be filled... On another note, while I'm waiting for the prescription to be filled, one of the ladies behind the counter proceeds to have a 5 minutes conversation about absolute nonsense with a co-worker while there is a line of 10 people waiting... Amazing Work ethics and customer service. BRAVO!

My medications are never ready when they are supposed to. My meds are life saving medications and there is always some kind of delay with my meds and it’s not due to my insurance. Unfortunately as convenient as this pharmacy is since I’m always at TGH I had to transfer my meds to an outside pharmacy

I don’t know if they’re understaffed, very busy, or what, but I’m often on hold for 30-60 minutes and then hung up on without speaking to anyone. When I finally get to speak to someone though, he’s usually very helpful.
