Hennepin Health Care's North Loop Pharmacy sits inside the same building as the HHC clinic, walk in the main entrance and you'll find it immediately to your right. It's a small operation: three service windows, no frills, not the kind of place you're wandering in to browse shelves. The OTC section is modest, covering the basics, but if you're used to a full Walgreens aisle of options you'll want to grab those elsewhere. Be prepared as well that the pharmacy is closed on Saturday and Sunday, the only reason for the 4 instead of 5 star review. The good news is, the staff are genuinely some of the kindest, most attentive people I've encountered at any pharmacy, full stop. They're fast, they actually listen, and they treat you like a person rather than a ticket number. Prescriptions get filled without the usual anxiety-inducing wait. They are always quick to answer the phone as well. Free home delivery for prescriptions is a huge plus — especially for anyone managing ongoing medications who'd rather not make a trip every month. And for LGBTQ+ patients specifically, the staff handle everything with real discretion and zero judgment. No awkward moments, no unnecessary questions, no side glances. It's the kind of environment where you can relax. If you're an HHC patient or just live in North Loop and haven't switched your prescriptions here yet, it's worth considering. The limited OTC stock and weekend closure are the only real trade-offs, and they are small ones that can be planned around.

By far the best pharmacy I have ever been to. The staff are so friendly and kind. If a medicine is priced high they will always search for coupons to help you out. They remember your name, always welcome you with a smile and make the entire process so smooth and quick. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

The service is above and beyond here. Staff who are passionate about patient care, and willing to help and advise. I feel valued and respected here. These people should be running the country; professional, polite, prompt - Perfect.

This pharmacy is conveniently located and has a great staff! They are very LGBTQ-friendly and always follow up in a timely manner with medications and refills. I know I can always trust them to handle any insurance, medication interaction, or general healthcare issues. I would not go anywhere else to get my prescriptions filled.

Very helpful staff who genuinely care about their patients and their well-being! Only feedback would be the hours sometimes are hard to get in with work but otherwise I have really found HCMC to be a great pharmacy!
