I am reviewing the accessibility of this CVS location for a class assignment. As someone who lives on north campus, I frequent this location often to quickly get any necessities, pick up prescriptions, and even print pictures. Both the front and back entrances had accessible and automatic sliding doors. Having these automatic doors makes the entrance accessible to anyone, whether they are in a wheelchair/ other mobility device or just have their arms full of bags. The back entrance goes out to the parking lot, which includes two accessible parking spaces and access aisles. From these aisles, the sidewalk slopes into a ramp toward the entrance. The front entrance is also accessible from the sidewalk, as there is not a step up or bump that would be difficult to maneuver over. I found the aisles inside to be wide enough for any larger mobility device to get through. During this specific visit, though, there were many boxes stacked and placed throughout the store. This would make it more difficult to access these aisles and maneuver around the store. While most people standing could reach the top shelf fine, those who cannot stand or who are not the average adult height may have trouble reaching the top shelf in these aisles. There are both self-checkout and registers with associates working. I think having both is important because it allows people to check out based on their own needs and ease. The music playing over the speaker did not seem to be too loud as to interfere with shopping. The lighting is a brighter fluorescent type, which may cause accessibility troubles for some people sensitive to this type of lighting.

I visit here often to grab something quick that I may need on my way to or from class. However, when I look into how accessible this location is, there are some notes that I have. It is very nice that they have automatic doors if a person in a wheelchair were to enter or leave with bags in their hands. Additionally, this CVS has the option of self check out and employees to check out. While it is very helpful that their self checkout has instructions both visually and spoken, it may be a little bit overwhelming for someone with auditory sensitivity. The store is well lit and each aisle is appropriately marked with titles of what to find to help navigate the store. While the aisles may be a little tight for a person with a mobility device, they are definitely wide enough if it were just them in the aisle. There is also handicap parking right outside the door, followed by a downward ramp from both sides of the parking lot, to avoid any stairs. I think that this location is very accessible in terms of parking, as some businesses do not have a bunch of parking that is easily accessible. The beeping of the scanners could also be overstimulating for some, but overall this location is accessible in multiple facets.

I often stop by here when I'm in the OSU area. It is gears towards both the general public and college students. There's always a variety of items to choose from. In this case, I needed something to eat after fasting for a blood test. Egg salad sandwich to the rescue! The cashier was very nice.

I love the CVS Rewards program! it is one of the best around. I hate to see CVS leaving my area because they always have what I need and you can't beat the prices. (not referring to the Pharmacy!)

I visit this CVS all the time as I often get a few groceries and my prescriptions here. The CVS staff and pharmacists are always so friendly and helpful, and the store is often fully stocked and neatly organized! I also find the store to be accessible to anyone with physical or invisible disabilities. The entrance on both sides have accessible sidewalks and ramps that lead to motion-sensor doors. These doors remain open for a good amount of time, allowing anyone who needs extra time to get in the chance to. Additionally, I noticed disability-accessible countertops at both the pharmacy and check-out counters (although the one pictured is closed, there is another available). The aisles are clear, wide, well lit, and not loud. The only accessibility related issue I could think of is that some of the aisles are above head height, which could be difficult for someone who is in a wheelchair or doesn't have the range of motion to reach that high. Overall, great CVS location!!
