Love Equitas! It is a bit of a revolving door in terms of staff, but every provider I’ve seen has been great, and staff are helpful at the pharmacy and on the phone as well. They have taken every insurance I have been on, which is great, I hate having to shop for a new provider when insurance changes The reason I gave them 4 stars is that they got rid of their over the counter selection - it’s now prescriptions only, which was a big bummer

UPDATE: I decided to give Equitas pharmacy another chance. At 11:19 am today I was told my prescriptions were ready. I arrive at 2:20 pm only to be told one of my prescriptions is unavailable and won’t be in until Monday. I explained to the pharmacy staff, due to my work hours, I am not able to come in during the week to pickup my meds, and how these issues seem to happen every single month. At this point, I was then told by pharmacy staff the medication is actually available, they had just misplaced it, and to wait 10-15 minutes for it to be ready. — This pharmacy has steadily gone downhill over the past few years, and I’ve reached the point where I can no longer deal with the ongoing issues. Nearly every month I’m told my prescriptions are ready or will be ready within 15–30 minutes, and they almost never are. Last month, I picked up my medications on a Saturday afternoon and—admittedly my mistake—I didn’t check the bag before leaving. When I got home and opened it after they had already closed, I realized my Lexapro was missing, which meant I had to go without it until Monday morning. On several occasions, I’ve had to make multiple trips in the same day because I was told my prescriptions were ready, only to arrive during my lunch break and find out they weren’t. To make matters worse, the staff is consistently unfriendly and rarely, if ever, apologizes for the delays or long wait times. The lack of reliability, communication, and basic courtesy has made this location extremely frustrating to use.

Highly incompetent people. No idea how they are hired in such a sensitive field like healthcare. Doctors often go on vacation and no one to cover them. They have no clue about what medication is covered by insurance and what is not covered. Complete chaos. As a patient, I had to teach them and remind them about small details. It’s very scary. They are going to mess up with someone’s health and get sued very soon. Unfortunately the person who’s gonna suffer may not recover. They don’t even know a simple thing as which patient is in which room. Only god can help at this point.

I called several pharmacies looking for a hard to find medication in stock. All of them made it as difficult as possible to talk to a human being. But calling Equitas Health Pharmacy got me through to a helpful person right away. So refreshing and how healthcare always should be.
