Worst pharmacy I’ve ever encountered in healthcare. My mother’s assisted living facility uses them. Guardian told us that they received her med orders from the hospital 12 hrs prior to discharge - they would call us if there were any problems filling them as she needs her meds on a specific schedule. They never told us that they couldn’t fill them because the hospital doc sent them to a local CVS instead (no idea why) so Mom got back to her assisted living and still has no medications 9 hrs later. I have made numerous phone calls. Guardian staff don’t call back. On call staff can only go off of the inaccurate notes left by Guardian staff. We then tried to go and pick up the meds that CVS had ready that Guardian told us they would send their courier to get and deliver to the assisted living (easier than voiding the bill they said). Come to find out Guardian took it upon themselves to tell CvS to cancel the orders (not give it to them for delivery) so they could rebill the orders in their system and put it on their tote for delivery. Of course, there’s no tracking for the delivery truck per the on call staff (that is yet to call me back with an update) so it’s now 3.5 hrs past mom’s med time, no meds in sight, and she’s now suffering due to a missed dose. You should be ashamed of yourselves Guardian.

Horrible. Ask any assisted living center or nursing home you are considering if they use Guardian. If everything else is equal, use the facility that doesn't use Guardian. I have a family member in a facility that uses them. Wouldn't let a pharmacist talk to husband's doctor. Their billing is horrible. They messed up a booster shot clinic by not giving the facility complete information and it had to be re-scheduled for many of the residents.

I used them for 2 years for my father’s medication and they we’re professional and dependable.
