Michael Corbin 5 months agoI've been using this pharmacy for 5+ years. In my opinion, it's been consistently getting better over the past 2 years. The staff in particular, which I greatly appreciate. I seems as if they realized they were understaffed for far too long, which most likely led to the staff being overworked and irritated daily, but it seems like they made the necessary adjustments. Especially for a 24 hr pharmacy. I hope it continues & if so, I will upgrade the stars to 5. *Prior to that, I consistently had issues with the way the treated patients. During that time, while waiting in line, I watched far too many be treated with rude & disrespectful behavior.
Maridalia 2 months agoThis review is for CVS PHARMACY 1212 S Greenfield Rd. Mesa AZ 85204. This is the worst pharmacy ever that I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting for a prescription for about 2 months already and nothing yet. I put in a complaint and still they don't care. The front-end techs with no experience, they never find anything. I kept getting text my prescription was ready. I just called right now and was told nothing showing. This CVS pharmacy not sure about the others but is the worst one when it comes to picking up prescriptions. You get a text meds are ready, when you go there, stupid tech say * there is no RX found for you* you provide DOB, phone number and nothing. What the heck with this pharmacy on Southern and Greenfield, in Mesa AZ, therefore, I DO NOT recommend this pharmacy to anybody. Not for new patients that want their new RX's filled. This pharmacy sucks.
Amelia Lay 8 months agoI’ve used CVS for many years at several locations depending on where I live at the time. This location has been my pharmacy for at least 2 years if not longer. They used to be great. The employees used to be great. The last few months there’s been a different person at the drive thru every time I come and none of them have been pleasant. I’ve also been receiving conflicting information the last several months about my refills. I do have some controlled medications, but I’ve been on some type of controlled medication for nearly 20 years now. I’ve never abused any. I don’t doctor shop or pharmacy shop. I get random drug screens through my doctor to make sure the right amount of my medications are in my system because you know…that’s their job not a pharmacy’s. 3 months ago and for years before that I was told that insurance will pay up to 4 days early but that CVS’s policy was only 3 days early. Not a problem. I have picked them up early, on time and even late. Just depends on the day of the week. I’m a law student and a volunteer legal advocate. I travel A LOT. So the 3 day early policy was workable for the most part. Last month I’m told (by someone new that I’ve never spoken to) that I’m only allowed to get them up to 2 days early and argued with me that the policy has always been that way. Not true, but I’m too old to argue with people who think they know it all and don’t take accountability when they are wrong. Today is 2 days early, which was told to me last month that it is the policy. I could tell by the voice and the attitude of the woman I was speaking to today that she was the same one from last month. I ask for my refills to be filled today and she tells me I can’t get them until the day I run out. She tells me that’s how it’s been for months. Umm, no it hasn’t. She’s the one that told me last month it’s 2 days early. Again, don’t care to argue with stupid people so I let it go. How in the world does it make sense that you can only pick up your prescription on the day you run out? Zero flexibility? God forbid something happens when you run out and you can’t make it to the pharmacy because you are sick or your car broke down. Some of these medications have to be taken at the same time every single day. For the record, I have 4 controlled prescriptions and it’s only 2 of them that I’m all of a sudden having a problem with. One is for my ADHD and the other is for my severe anxiety, PTSD and panic attacks. By the way, try telling someone who is having a panic attack that they can’t get their meds. I’d be interested to see how that plays out for you. I feel like this know-it-all stubborn human being with zero empathy is targeting me for some reason. She even went as far as asking me how many pills I had left. My doctor, you know the one who actually went to med school and is the only one allowed to prescribe the medication, doesn’t fill my controlled prescriptions earlier than 3 to 4 days. This time she sent in for the refill 3 days early because it was a Thursday and they aren’t open on the weekends. I’m supposed to be in Benson early Sunday morning and I already know that even though you are 24 hours you won’t fill them until after 8am when I’m already expected to be in Benson until Friday due to having to be in court and have time to prep my witnesses. So now because of this nonsense I’m going to have no choice but to be late and even though it will be no fault of my own, as an adult who doesn’t play the blame game I’ll be the one taking accountability. Once I pickup these last 2 prescriptions I’m out. You will have lost a loyal 10+ year customer at all CVS locations. Maybe next time this woman wants to treat someone like a drug seeker, make sure you look at the patient history first. Someone who rarely goes to the ER or urgent care, and has had the same primary care doctor for the last 27 years is so obviously not a drug seeker. She will know who she is if this review is actually shared with the pharmacy staff. Good riddance.
Ashlee Reber-Wolff 5 months agoPharmacy drive through window was slow, the woman at the window was rude, inpatient and refused to help to what could have been the most simple solution that I asked her to try, but she refused to try. Now I have to deal with my active insurance to try and get reimbursed and figure out a solution as I require medication every month.
Mike Robertson 3 months agoUPDATE TO KAST REVIEW!!!The last 3 months this pharmacy has trouble giving me my prescribed amount. They keep having me come back every 10 days which has caused confusion and morr problems It also costs me money to drive back and forth. Actually 2 months ago, they gave me 30 pills out of 90 And if I hadn't caught it then I would have been out 60 pills because they didn't put any refills or anything on it the bottle They didn't put that they were only giving me 30 and they owed me 60 more They just gave me one bottle of 30 pills and still owed me two bottles of 30 pills each but never put that on the prescription If I'd have walked out the doors it would have been over with and I would have had to argued with him over my medication. Each time I go back they're giving me sometimes a 9-day supply some days a 10-day supply because they say they don't have my medication. Why is this all of a sudden a problem? Why can't they get my medication in? Yesterday I waited for an hour and a half total for them to give me one More days supply and not fix the problem. I still have to go back in 9 days to pick up the rest of my prescription I've been there This will be the fifth time for a 1-month supply of medication and this is unacceptable! ******"Always very friendly and very clean. Pharmacy staff is always extremely helpful. Also got my flu shot and my shingles shot while I waited on my medication everything was in timely manner and that's why I always go here I really like this CVS Pharmacy. I use my app and my barcode and my CVS card and I go in scan the barcode on my phone and out very fast. They are really good about sending you text messages and always updating you and letting you know when your prescriptions are ready to pick up and any other information you need to know about medications or things you need to benefit your health.
