Woman at the front counter had a bad attitude when I asked if cash back was available stating “there’s an atm right there” proceeded to ignore me then walked to the back to help another customer. Then manager (male) walks up doesn’t say hello but instead stands in front of the exit like I was going to steal two candy bars while getting medication for my father. The woman that was stocking came from the back and was very nice and informative and had a great attitude, the other two however need to work on their customer service. Won’t be coming back to this location.

This is my favorite Walgreens. Not only did it save me when I didn't have a car (it's the only store besides the gas station in this neighborhood), but everyone who works here is super friendly. It's just a really good experience every time I go in.

Walgreens has always been a staple here in Arizona, and I want to start by saying something positive: the pharmacy team at Walgreens is absolutely outstanding. Every time I’ve needed to fill a prescription, I’ve been impressed by their professionalism, kindness, and efficiency. That’s why today’s experience at the checkout line was so surprising and disappointing. I had an interaction with a store manager that left me genuinely shocked — to the point I initially didn’t believe he was a manager. I came in to return a Christmas blanket that I didn’t end up using in an employee gift exchange. When I purchased it, the cashier at the time told me it wouldn’t be an issue to return it as long as I kept the receipt, which I did. When I first walked up, the manager asked, “You gotta return?” I said yes and even offered to let a few customers go ahead of me so I wouldn’t hold up the line. Once it was clear, I stepped forward to complete the return. From the very beginning, his tone was accusatory. Even with my receipt and the item clearly matching, he kept asking what the “issue” was. I explained that we simply didn’t use it for the gift exchange and that it had only been purchased a week ago. Instead of processing the return, he seemed to look for every possible reason not to — asking if I had my ID, whether I paid cash or card (which seemed irrelevant), and finally claiming that the store no longer carried the blanket so there was no UPC to scan. Then, after saying there were none in stock, he went to the Christmas aisle and found several of the exact same blankets. When he returned, he began inspecting mine closely and said, “This blanket is dirty. Did you use this blanket? Why is it so dirty?” It was humiliating. Of course I had never used the blanket, and the way he spoke to me was completely disrespectful and unnecessary. I told him how uncomfortable and shocked I was by his tone and accusations. I had my receipt — there was absolutely no reason to treat a customer that way. I’m choosing not to include his name here because my intention isn’t to hurt anyone personally. My hope is that Walgreens views this as constructive feedback and an opportunity for improvement. I strongly recommend leadership and customer service training for this location. This experience was well below the standard I’ve come to expect from Walgreens — but I genuinely hope it can be turned into a learning opportunity to help the store do better in the future. If Walgreens would like to reach out to me directly, feel free I have my receipt pictures of the item and pictures of my return. I would also provide the name. I just don’t want to do a publicly. Add on: I forgot to include that the accusatory tone was coupled by multiple inappropriate statements, one of those statements made by the manager was something to the effective. Oh don’t worry we have your ID implying that I was doing something wrong by returning merchandise that I purchased legitimately a week ago and did not use. it was a threat to be quite Frank. I let him know that I had never been treated so disrespectfully and I did not appreciate it. That’s when I asked if he was a manager to what she was IDS I’m one of the managers, and I decided to de-escalate the situation as he was getting loud and even more disrespectful and just believe without complaining to somebody else.

5 people in line to check out and not a cashier in sight. I thought y'all had issues with shoplifters? And when the cashier did grace us with her presence, there was no genuine apology, just 'there's not enough of me to go around', deal with it. I will go out of my way to go to any other store.

The cashiers are NEVER where they're supposed to be. If anyone wanted to steal they wouldn't notice. The turnover rate is very high. The management are not qualified or they don't care. The employees don't know where anything is. The pharmacy has been cutting back their hours of operation and are closed on the weekend. It's a depressing little store and I've been told it won't stay open another year. Avoid if possible.
