Runs like an average Walgreens store. Most of its staff is helpful. One thing, IC3, the cyber crime task forces name is often repeated over the intercom. It must be the acronym for something at the store. it's curious when a Chinese staff person announces the acronym.

Honestly, SO unhelpful!!! Tried to get two scripts filled that I usually obtain from the Walgreens across the street on 18th/Castro. THAT pharmacy is unbearable, w long delays and massive lines, and unfortunately reliably filled w numerous high and homeless folks who are having a hard time. It sucks to wait in line for 30 mins only to get to the counter and be told your scripts that were called in 8 hrs ago still aren't ready. So I asked my doc to move my scripts across the street to the Community Walgreens after having heard what a better experience it is to get your meds there. However, Community Pharmacy made it SO hard. They insisted on treating me and the scripts as a "new patient," which then requires my doc to fill out a 4-page authorization form--for meds I've been taking for a while and have already gotten numerous refills on! My doc did fill out the online forms but the platform was faulty and would not accept the forms, no matter how hard he tried. When I went in to troubleshoot---given that these meds were already in the Walgreens system and approved by insurance months ago---the pharmacist just shrugged and said there's nothing she can do. The unnecessary bureaucracy was super disappointing and a waste of time.

I've been with Walgreens over 20 years I won't go into detail but HUBERT (manager) you have definitely earned your 2stars BRAVO. JERK

Very poor service from this pharmacy. My father relies on them to send his chemo each month. Hard to get someone on the phone, and when you do they don't know anything and can't help you. We're fed up.
