I have shopped this location since moving to Colorado in 1997. While there have been moments, due to geographic location (bought a new home), I have watched other pharmacies like walgreens in the same parking lot pull stunts like...open from 9-5, leaving no time for patients to make it if they're employed. I've been to pharmacies in our own Memorial Hospital, where no one is present.....yes, regular business hours. But no one available. And I've seen the most arrogant of arrogant persons at Walmart, acting as a pharmacist. Having a sister in law who is a pharmacist in Oregon, this is what I know from their perspective. Many pharmacists (especially and most recently Walgreens back in 2018-19) had their pay reduced mainly due to companies like GoodRx, who reduce the cost to the consumer, but does nothing to reimburse the pharmacies. This in effect caused Walmart, Walgreens, CVC to cut their staff back nationally. Yes. Other factors were and are in play when it comes to making these decisions....but the fact that they cut hours, wages, and staff has proven to be a burden on us, the customer. An even bigger burden, they've done nothing to correct the unbalanced order of things ..too many drugs coming out for diseases and conditions that only two decades ago, never existed... America, along with New Zealand are the only two nations that allow drug companies to advertise on television and in magazines, fullfledged advertisements for prescription medication. I've ready many sad, and some very "selfish, self centered" comments on here about how rude the pharmacists here at this location are. Several comments regarding "who do they think they are? They changed my Dr.'s order for meds to something completely different, or flat out refused to fill it!" I would suggest you may want to thank the pharmacist for doing such!!!That's their job!!! News flash-Your Doctor, whether a specialist, or your primary isn't Jesus Christ! No- they're human beings just like the pharmacist, and you.... They often write orders for a med that could cause contradictory side effects with other meds you take, or hell even vitamins and other supplements that may interact with the prescribed, meds. Next time you think your pharmacist is being arrogant for changing or canceling your script.. you may want to thank them, for looking at your whole medication history....and knowing what drugs interact with other drugs..... Last news flash FYI, many primary and specialist physicians don't take the time to read the latest on new meds, many are lucky to see the same advertisements you and I see. Pharmacists tend to familiarize themselves with new meds, okay? So in closing, whether you shop here, or at Walmart or your local mom and pops pharmacy. Take it easy in yourself. And the people behind the counter....

What happened to this pharmacy? I used to get updates when my prescriptions were ready or delayed. Now I have to call and find out that my insulin is going to be delayed because they don’t have the meds I get reliably every 90 days. Oh well, I guess I’ll just die.

This pharmacy is absolutely ridiculous! Every time I go here it’s the same level of pure incompetence. ALWAYS. I guess I’m living the true definition of insanity expecting any thing different.

I have always had a pleasant experience here. Now, this is a very busy King Soopers and, therefore, a busy pharmacy. Keep in mind this fact, and know that they are doing the best they can, as fast as they can. Everyone has been friendly, and when I have called, they have answered with friendly service. That's no small feat considering that phone never stops ringing ,as I hear it ringing incessantly while i am waiting in line to pick up my prescriptions. AND the best part, they are open every day of the week with longer than normal hours.

I have never had a pharmacist over ride my doctors prescription for me. Until today. The sanctimonious pharmacist decided today she would refuse to fill my prescription. If that wasn't bad enough she was hateful and so full of her own virtue the pharmacy techs all looked shocked. When one goes to get their prescriptions filled after going to the doctor sick, tired and just wanting relief the last thing they need is a pharmacist thinking they know my need more then my doctor.
