Naje Tucker 2 months agoIf I could give 0 stars I would!! I rarely do reviews!! Only when the service is exceptionally good or terribly bad!!! I have had a repeatedly terrible experience with this pharmacy! I saw someone state that poor customer service was typical for a pharmacy in a previous review but I’d have to disagree. As someone who has been on constant medications for my adult life I’ve never experienced such rude service! Techs and Pharmacist just blatantly being rude for NO REASON AT ALL!!! Thank God my prescription isn’t life threatening but what if it was, they have no consideration! The pharmacist James literally told someone “just hang up on her and have her call back” while I’m literally just requesting a status update on my prescription or transfer to someone who could provide it. I listened while they belittled my request in the background I assume they thought I was on mute. He proceeded to disconnect me but when I called back I got him again and once he heard my voice he terminated the call and sent me to the elevator music without a word!!! This wasn’t my first bad experience, but it will be my last!! I experienced equally terrible service in person as well!! I would not be patronizing if so many Rite Aids weren’t closed, but I will be transferring to CVS specialty because convenience isn’t worth the disrespect and feeling like I just don’t matter. I recommend if you are looking for other options consider CVS they deliver and have always been polite!
Laura Zdanavage 4 months agoLet me preface this review by first saying that the only reason I come here every month is because the Penn network makes me. Every single month it is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. There is not one good employee, and I’ve worked with all of them, that can handle issues or people in general every single month. There is some sort of issue they can’t find my prescription. They wait for me to call until they process my prescription even if it’s a few days later. What kind of pharmacy does not process medication until you provoke them as the patient? Several times I’ve had to call and then they have to order it and it takes another few days. They never apologize for all of the inconvenience and just yesterday I called in once again like every month they can’t find my prescription after 30 minutes on the phone, they then find it after I explain to them how to do their job in multiple steps And then they tell me to come in in 40 minutes, which is close to closing time I come in I waited in line and after waiting in line for 30 minutes, they tell me the system is down and because it’s required to give my identification, even if my prescription is ready, they can’t give it to me. It is not a federal law to show my ID for my medication that is wrong that they would not give me my medication and now I had to wake up early and make another trip to the most inconvenient pharmacy on the planet. You can’t park there you have to wait in line. It is just the ultimate money grab. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I can’t wait for the day when the pen network lets me go back to CVS every month. Let that sink in.
Saleemah Beyah-Austin 6 months agoCommunication is poor. They are often out of medications and they don’t call you to inform you, instead they wait until you come in to tell you. The line is always wrapped around the wall so there is always a long wait. At times I have been told they never received my prescriptions only to find the script later.
O Taylor a year agoI’ve been getting my medication here for a few months and usually the lines are long but move in a reasonable amount of time. Today I waited over 45 mins in line in the heat at 7 months pregnant for my medication! It was truly a disgrace. I wanted to leave but had no more of my medication at home and had already gone a day without it. There has to be a better system put in place down there. That was the worse experience I’ve ever had at any pharmacy EVER!
Nena Jess 9 months agoNot Being Able To Find Free Parking Is The Headache Of My Life When Trying To Pick Up My Medication From Here. When You Do Find Parking, You Feel Rushed To Get Back Before The Time Slot Is Up, And Then Arrive Inside Only To Be Met With A Long Line Of Others Waiting Also. There Should Be An Area Where There Is 30 Minutes Of Free Parking For Those Just Picking Up Medication. The Young Lady That Calls Me, Recently, To Let Me Know That My Medication Is Available For PickUp Has A Very Rude & Unpleasant Tone As Soon As I Answer My Phone😮💨.
