I always have such a lovely experience at this HEB! The last time I visited a pharmacist helped me saved money and took the time to walk me through my questions. So nice & highly recommend!!!

I went into HEB Pharmacy feeling nervous about starting a new medication, and Peyton completely changed that experience for me. She was patient, kind, and took the time to answer every question I had without making me feel rushed. She explained everything so clearly that I walked out feeling confident and informed. I’m convinced she could teach a masterclass on how to make people feel comfortable and at ease. If every pharmacist were like Peyton, no one would ever be nervous picking up a prescription again.

Sometimes I have a great experience here and sometimes it’s rough. I’ve come back 3 days in a row to pick up a medication and have been told every day it’s set for pickup ‘tomorrow’. It’s before 9am right now and I was just ignored through the intercom until I left. It’s one specific employee tbh and I think I see other reviews calling out the same person. I bet if I call later and get someone else they’ll help me.

Today? First I call to confirm closing time, barely a greeting. Then in person, my doctor sent the script this morning, 10 hour’s later & I’m told it will be ready in the morning they will have to order it!!?? When I asked which HEB had that med now? Magically it will be ready in 10 minutes!? And it was- but whyyyy wasn’t it ready? So yes,1 star, poor customer service, first on the phone, then in person. H‑E‑B don’t start failing me now. Normally you can count on attentive customer service on the phone & in person BUT today?? NO not today.

I’m usually not one to complain but I’d avoid this HEB pharmacy if you can. There’s one pharmacist / tech there that treats you with what’s best described as dark comedy, I mean it’s effectively just funny at this point that it’s so reproducible. I’ve learned to recognize her voice and I’m like oh man, let me hang up and call back when she’s not working. I’m switching to riverside location just to avoid, she’s truly miserable
