I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for decades, and never had a problem with the people behind the counter. Recently they hired a new employee that works behind the counter retrieving orders for customers. He's around six feet tall, white with dark hair, beard, and overweight. He uses male pronouns when interacting with me. He knows my name and knows I'm female. I've spoken with several other employees there about this and how it upsets me. He did it again today, even though it's now obvious that he has been told about the concern. People's is no longer the touchy-feely, holistic, concerned about it's customers, shop it once was. It seems to be open season for abusing customers. They need to get back to their roots.

I want to support a locally owned business, plus I think it’s the only one near me that does compounding, but I’m frustrated with the long turnaround times. Called in a refill for a compounded med for my senior pet on Feb 28, ten days prior to me going out of town on March 9. Just called and they said it won’t be ready until Tuesday the 10th. I asked if they could deliver the prescription to my petsitter since I’ll already be out of town by then, and they said her zip code wasn’t in the delivery radius, and I don’t want to make my sitter go pick up the prescription herself. I asked what they suggest I do then, because my senior pet has two medical conditions and needs her meds. I thought that calling it in ten days prior to me going out of town would be enough time; for her last refill they said that five days is typical turnaround. They ended up saying that they could have it ready by Monday at 12:30, which technically works because my flight isn’t until 5, but still not ideal and cutting it close. So that’s an 8 or 9 business day turnaround since they’re open on Saturdays. Again I want to support a local business and there aren’t many options for compounded pet meds in the area, but it’s just challenging to plan around. I wish they could have more consistent timeframes and better communication, because when I called to check on it yesterday, no one could give me an idea of the status of it. They’re probably understaffed which I know isn’t the employees’ fault. Seems like they need to hire a bit more to give the lab employees more capacity and relief if things are really taking over a week. Just hoping I really can pick it up Monday so my baby isn’t without her med for a week. I think I’m going to try Tarrytown Pharmacy next time.

Great place to help you feel great: good food, great supplements, and great service. This is where Austin comes to get well. It’s is a compounding pharmacy with a health food quicky mart style front. Keto Vegan paleo Gluten free they have the healthy grab and go snacks for you. I come here when I want vetted quality and a sweet and knowledgeable staff.

Misti was more than amazing helping me select products that would help me with chemo triggered neuropathy and lowered energy levels. Very impressive service that I have never received at a pharmacy!

THANK YOU FOR EXISTING! You’re a life line. Pls take all my money! Your staff is always incredibly knowledgeable and so very nice and supportive every time I come. I can’t recommend People’s RX enough 🙌🏼❤️
