Hands down THE worst Walgreens pharmacy in Bakersfield. Impossible to get through on the phones. I called starting from 11:55 am and didn’t get through til 1:07pm, I was disconnected 3 times, twice due to “technical error,” and once I was hung up on after she went to check.. This was only to ask whether or not they had a medication my dad was in need of that no one else had in stock only to have them tell me they couldn’t disclose it for safety reasons although every other Walgreens let me know they were out of stock.. after arriving the medication was sent over and “delayed for review.” I waited in the parking lot for an hour before coming in and the pharmacist (and I quote) hasn’t even looked at it yet. Said she needs to call to confirm quantity and dosing first. If I hadn’t come in, who knows how long it would’ve been. I live out of town so I couldn’t just leave and come back so easily. After a total of 3 hours so far, I’m hoping to receive it soon, because my dad’s been without for days already due to holiday. 😞 my heart really hurts for the elderly who do not have someone to assist with things like this. I do however highly recommend Walgreens on gosford, I very much appreciate them!! Friendly service, still hard to contact on the phone 😅 but worth it when you get what you need in a timely manner.

Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve used. Most recent fail by this pharmacy is telling me my prescription was misfiled and couldn’t be found so I need to get back in a nine car long line or come inside and grab it & they would be ready by the time I get inside. I wait in line inside the store for 25+ min and then get told they needed another 20-30 minutes to fill my prescription? I don’t understand how a place that handles dangerous meds if in the wrong hands is so unorganized that they misplace them and are nonchalant about it.

Pharmacy service here is the worst. Absolutely zero customer service. Never fails. They don’t even turn to acknowledge the customers waiting in line. A simple, “ I’m sorry we’ll be with you as soon as we can “ goes a long way. I get it, this world is busy, but a little courtesy never hurt anyone.

My doctor put in the request for a prescription through Medicaid. I called Walgreens and they told me it was ready within 90 minutes of calling them. I've been out of medication for 3 days and experiencing very unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. I had to switch to this pharmacy after Rite Aide went out of business. The AI phone options are annoying and it also takes a long time for prescriptions to be picked up. They wanted me to pay up front for my prescription and I do not have the funds. I had so much hope when they told me the authorization would be ready after I called them...

The pharmacy on Hageman is terrible! The staff are very rude when questioning them about the refill issues. I've had nothing but problems for the last 3 months here. They get my medications mixed up, filled by the wrong doctors or say they don't have my medication referral on file. I've had my specialist send my medication prescription at least 5 times because they have no clue what the hell they're doing in the pharmacy. Needless to say, I'm moving to CVS! I don't recommend this pharmacy to anyone.
